Tuesday, April 9, 7:00-8:00 PM: You Can Be a Citizen Scientist: An Intro to the 2023 City Nature Challenge presented by Capital Nature, Prince Georges County Parks and The Nature Conservancy of Maryland/D.C. Wednesday April 10, 12 noon- 1pm or 6:00-7:00 PM: City Nature Challenge Informational Webinar. Our good friends at the National Aquarium in Baltimore will review use of the iNaturalist app and website, what the City Nature Challenge is, what role you or your organization can play, and answer any questions you have. Thursday April 11, 7 – 8:30 PM: Using iNaturalist for the City Nature Challenge, presented by Prince Georges County Sierra Club. Get ready to explore nature with this virtual introduction to the iNaturalist app and database. Find out how to take pictures for accurate species identifications and how to explore interesting places from your couch. Brush up on skills and then get out there to make more observations!
