Virtual iNat nights

Our DC-area iNaturalist community is broad, deep, kind, and very collaborative. We gather together monthly on every second Tuesday evening over Zoom to learn about a new topic and work on identifications. We also have a Welcome Room where our hosts do live demos and answer questions about iNaturalist for people who are new to the community. Special April and May sessions focus on the City Nature Challenge.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience level! We have old-timers and brand-new people, and we are all here to help each other.

Next up! The April 30 and May 2 sessions are identification events for observations made during the City Nature Challenge in the DC metro area. Join newcomers and experts alike, pick up some good identification tips–even if you’ve never done ID’s before–and help us get people’s observations cleaned up! Please spread the word–all are welcome! Join us here at 7pm!
